Fixed fees

For services with a predictable scope and duration, we can offer fixed rates (fixed fees). This way, you have clarity about the costs in advance. Examples of services that can be offered at a fixed rate are:

• Drafting or reviewing employment contracts

• Drafting or assessing settlement agreements

• Developing staff handbooks and personnel regulations

• Employment law seminars and workshops

• Providing customized internal training

Hourly rate

For cases where the scope of work is uncertain, we bill on an hourly basis. When working on an hourly rate, we inform our clients as clearly as possible in advance and during the process about the expected costs.

Subsidized legal aid (‘toevoeging’)

In the Netherlands, there is a system of subsidized legal aid, also known as the system of ‘toevoegingen’. This system ensures that people with a lower income also have access to legal assistance. We also handle such cases and do so out of conviction. Everyone is entitled to expert legal help, regardless of financial situation.

If you want to qualify for subsidized legal aid, you must meet certain conditions. These conditions relate to income, living situation, and assets. The Legal Aid Board assesses whether you are eligible for an addition. If you are eligible, an own contribution is determined based on income and assets. You must pay this contribution yourself, but the rest of the costs are reimbursed by the government.
